Joe Davis
Huntingdon Middle School

Mr. Davis began his professional teaching career in 2012.  He has worked with many reputable programs throughout West Tennessee for the past decade.   Mr. Davis graduated from Gibson County High School in 2007, and earned his Bachelor of Music Education with emphasis in Instrumental Music from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011. Mr. Davis is Past Vice President and Fraternal Education Officer of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.  He is a member of the West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association, Tennessee Music Educators Association, and Tennessee Bandmasters Association.

Mr. Davis' duties at Huntington Special Schools include teaching music classes to grades 4-5, as well as teaching three separate band classes in grades 6-8.  He duties also include assisting with the Huntington High School band. 

Mr. Davis still engages himself with outside musical endeavors such as performing with the Martin Community Band throughout each summer, as well as the West Star Brass Band throughout the year. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Alex and son, Nolan.
